the wwe have smackdown, raw and ecw + payperviews like wrestlmania. The wwe have wrestlers that seem to try and do movies also. why?
The latest film, called Marine stars john cena. however I am confused because I have heard that this movie was done by wwe films? So are wwe trying to do movies now so they can publicise their wrestlers by doing more than just wrestling?
I hear the marine was rubbish and john cena cannot act to save his life. Is this another attempt to make more money or something? wwe films, can someone explain this?

sorry for adding more. Do you feel that no other wrestling promotion will catch up with wwe? with all this extra because of what there doing, wont they remain dominant for many years to come?
Lastly, in ten years time, wont people be laughing at cena's efforts? Afterall he isnt the best wrestler out there, and the film he is in sucks according to reviews?

Many people on here (by now) knows that I am a WWE hater. However, hate is a strong word in my opinion. I certainly dont like where this so-called "entertainment" is heading.
I class myself more of a 'historian' in the world of entertainment wrestling. In my opinion, the 70's or earlier was the best!! The 80's were still good, and the early 90's were okay also, but today WWE is absolutely terrible.
Vince McMahon owns the WWE -- The most dominant Entertainment Wrestling Promotion. Believe it or not, but there are many WWE wrestling fans throughout the entire globe its scary.
The WWE team are milking as much money as they can from their fans. Afterall, there are 3 shows a week, and there are also extra shows like WrestleMania as you said.
WWE films, is another tactic to get money off the fans. John Cena is the latest man at the moment and Vince knows that!! Why do you think he's the champion? He cannot wrestle to save his life but that doesnt seem to matter anymore. For some strange reason, people LOVE him and I am still trying to find out why? I guess it has to do with people under the age of 16 I suppose. Besides, he gives them (the WWE) MONEY!!
Moving back to WWE films, it is basically another department of the WWE business itself. This is another tactic of promoting their wrestlers (WWE wrestlers of that time) and to publicise the WWE even more.
WWE films have done a number of films already and also some films currently in development. These films stars the likes of The Rock, Kane, Austin, HHH and of course John Cena.
I dont know about the other films, but Marine is apparently CRAP!! However, it wont matter because as I say the WWE have many fans and they will watch it regardless. So whether the film is good or rubbish, the WWE are going to MAKE MONEY!!
When you look at it this way, the WWE's profits are high and no other promotion will ever catch up with them. TNA is getting better in my opinion and could rival WWE, but regarding money the WWE could own them anyday.
To end it here, John Cena is a joke. WWE today seem to focus more of entertainment acting rather than the Wrestling. From the entertainment side, wrestling can still be an 'art', but it certainly isnt an art anymore on the majority of matches. I do believe that John Cena will be taken the utter **ss out of in ten years time. A bit like Ultimate Warrior, as he is considered a joke today.

WWE is expanding.Since WWE already dominate the sports entertaiment industry,they want to aim higher.WWE is just entertainment and the wrestlers also show some great athletic ability.WWE already has the highest ratings and it's stocks skyrocket,but Vince is not yet satisfied,he still wants to make films.WWE films is already national,wait until they reached international,WWE's revenue will hit the ceiling.WWE films made several blockbusters,like The Rundown,Walking Tall,See No Evil.TNA is gonna have a hard time catching up with WWE.

well, wwe isn't just about the wrestling! i mean of course the wrestling is the main part of it but it has so much more to offer as well , its entertainment , aside from wrestling the other big thing is the backstage goings on , i love that as much as i love thew wrestling. its also the music which i equally enjoy ! i think its good that wwe isn't just wrestling , its great that the also to movies! wwe is not just wrestling its a life style!
and sorry in my opinion and the rest of the wrestling fan industries opinion ( as long as they are sain , old enough to make their own opinions , and aren't TNA ( i hate those letterers) fans )

I've seen the movie and it ROCKS - John Cena does a kick butt job ( and he did all of his stunts himself ) as for the WWE having it's own film company I have no idea but I wouldn't put it past Vince because we all know everything he does has to do with the all mighty $$ - go see the movie and tell me what you think!!!!

Do you know he can't act cause you saw the movie or you watch wwe.the whole thing is bad acting in my view,but they get millions because people like watching people look stupider every day.Some feel strong when the obvious person wins who they root for.I think the movie buisness is saturated with junk wwe is able to make money from there fans who look up to theese steroid junkies who pratice everyday at oiling there bodies,and where more make-up then Kevin FEDERLIN.

The struggling with is faux. the tale lines are scripted The blood (if there is any) is the superstars own blood yet they use a razor to diminish their foreheads each and every time they want to in a tournament. sure. the WWE is to entertain the visitors and the target audience. international Wrestling leisure. wrestling fans are getting bored of wwe and lack of decent wrestling action so more are getting into the likes of tna and roh, none will proove a threat to wwe but may prompt them to improve the wrestling product but dont bank on it

People will go to see Cena.......or HHH in movies.....even though they can t act.............just like they d pay to see some disgusting country singer "act".......in a movie. Its all about how big a fan you are........of that individual.
