The individual components of the apple can probally be made in a lab...right down to the ester that gives it its smell...but to put all the components in a form that would look like an apple would be nearly impossible

I think not, not in the way that you put together a lot of carbon, some water and some other stuff and Tadaah there's an apple. But in the way that you 'make' humans in a laboratory it could. This would mean that you let a human grow in a way other then is traditional, ie in the womb. But you still depend on the natural growth of living things, and as with a human, at some point you do need a womb to let the human grow more.
So in the future there may be ways to let an apple grow without a tree, but that's far in the future for now, I think.

Skin, seeds and all, no. It's probably do-able to create the flesh of the fruit. Tissue culture technology is coming along nicely although plant tissue might require adjustments of technique.. Not very economical though.

Of course, you could grow an apple tree in a labratory, but that probably isn't what you mean.

YES.If we can make humans in the laboratory.Then why not an apple.

why not.but its time consuming and expensive.its better to create one in your backyard!
