I was sitting in a pub supping a pint last week in London as a visitor, when this beautiful American drop dead gorgeous woman came over to the bar, I said, hello there my little chickadee, can I buy you a drink ?
Why sure honey, I'll have a double brandy and babycham, I guess

Oh god please don't go hunting for girls in Harrods or Selfridges. Fashion isn't really that different but as a general rule don't wear sandals with socks. It depends what type of girl you might want to meet, as to where you should go. If you like the beatles, go to the beatles store on Baker St. If you want a WAG, standard posh is-you girlfriend then feel free to go to harrods, if you want someone who is intelligent go to the library. If you want a party girl, spend the night partying in Soho. If you're scared about girls running away because you're American; don't stereotype and don't act up your own ***- we quite like our men with a bit of modesty. Also, be a gentleman; we don't seem to have any of those in London :-( Just go up to a girl and say 'hi', or think of a good excuse to start talking to her. There's always an excuse. I'm sure most girls will like you, despite the fact you are American, as you seem to understand that not everyone thinks America is the best country in the world. Oh and, good luck!
