To save someones bacon just take the perilous item and place it in the freezer, this will keep it safe, however make sure there are no dangers in the freezer or that would be like jumping from the frying pan into the fire!

I have done this many times. My Lady is always nearly losing her bacon, and would do so were it not for my rapid reactions.
That's why she loves me so......If she left me, she says she would never find another Bacon Saver like yours truly......

Maybe a bacon press, I think it cooks faster & comes out flat, sure saved mine.
