I canm only assume that they are northern creatures who migrate south in the winter. Having said that, I have seen robins in the UK during the other seasons.

Where is here? If you mean UK, well the Robins in my garden have been here all summer too. they never went anywhere or go anywhere. Maybe they go the the countryside in the summer and if there is no food they go to the town?? Maybe?

They are here all the time, we just see them more in winter because there are less other birds and their song is more audible.
