Hope u can read my answer...
U have got a virus or worm or something like that
I had been warned by Google when looked it up and tried to follow the first hit link "viva termex"
It was reported as a badware site
things u can do:

1>> First try to download a 30day tryout anti-virus software
2>> Install it click extract then just keep clicking next
If you have installed (1)
You will find several number of red pop up windows come up with the message virus is found

3>>let the SW to delete all of them.
Hope you can manage.

4>>Download (2)
5>>Install, Run Search n Destroy do not be surprised if there is more than 30 badware
Search takes several minutes

If you could manage all above
6>>Now you can feel safe.

Keep in mind: you should
back up your important data
purchase a high quality anti virus software
use safe browser for example Firefox

If you can not manage all above It could happen
reinstalling the OS will be necessary

Best Regards and Good luck

It seems that there is some trojan, or malware running in the background, which does not allows you to change the Home Page. To remove it first enable your disabled Task Manager.

To enable your disabled Task Manager download Task Manager Fix tool from following URL

http://www.diskdatarecovery.net/task-manager-has-been-disabled-by-your-administrator

Download it, Click Fix Now and it enables your Task Manager. When the Task Manager gets enabled then check out for any suspicious process running in the background. And if any then kill them.

Use MSCONFIG command to remove the unwanted processes to run on next start up.

To use MSCONFIG command Click Start->Run and Type msconfig in the dialog box.

Goto Startup Tab and uncheck unwanted entries. And it's all you require.

Sounds like you have a serious bug (virus or trojan).
If you can update all anti-virus and spyware programmes, turn off system restore, go onto safe mode and run each anti-everything twice.

Hopefully this will remove the bug or at least show you where you can delete it, you can also try an active scan (pandasoftware.com) to see if that can detect it.

Also while in safe mode try deleting the homepage and in the meantime stop using IE and get Firefox.

It seems your computer is infected by an adware, try an AntiSpy.
