I'm single at the moment but this just entered my head so I thought I would ask you all.
If I am going with a woman and she gets a bit drunk and snogs her friend who is also female is that cheating?
If not what if she gets drunk and snogs another man who is her friend?
It's just that it's all or nothing for me personally and I can't see why kissing a women is less than kissing a man, even if it's for a laugh.

The biggest issue here is not the 'cheating' or the 'not cheating' -- it's the ALCOHOL ! Anyone who cannot remember things, or has their inhibitions lowered like that should not drink -- at all ! Think about it .... how many times did someone use the excuse "but I couldn't help it -- I was really drunk!" An inbriated person is capable of doing ANYTHING ! And, anything that you consider unfitting behavior has no excuse. You don't need to call it 'cheating' -- it's simply inappropriate, as far as you are concerned.

well yeah its cheating - but seeing as most men would enjoy their woman snogging another woman its not a bad kinda cheating - also its not like shes going elsewhere for a more satisfying man or anything - so I think that kinda eases it a bit. xx

Depends on your definition of chesting - for me 'cheating' would be my partner lying to me not what he did physically with a person of either gender.
I have seen my partner drunkenly snog another woman - it was more funny than anything else. He still doesn't remember it - bless!

Depends on your partner. I know my bloke would think it was funny (probably even a turn on!) if i kissed a female friend but if i was going out with someone who i know wouldn't see it that way i wouldn't do it as it would be considered cheating from their point of view.

Cheating is when the person do things that he/she knows that he/she will offend his/her partner.
If they are drunk, having hell of a time, and kissing just for the fun of it, and both of them knows that it means NOTHING, than that is not cheating. I think.

To me it is cheating whether you kiss a man or woman. Its both as bad.

A kiss is still a kiss. Man, woman, something in between... Alcohol lowers inhibitions, so it means that they wanted to kiss that lady/male friend anyways and the alcohol gave them the guts to do it. I dunno, if she wanted to kiss anybody, might as well kiss her boyfriend/husband not a chum, while drunk,so there.

I think you answered your own question when you said it is all or nothing for you, then it is cheating.
Some men find it humorous even exciting as do some women, it is a personnel thing and you expect loyalty.

It depends on individual thinking. I guess it is easier to handle if your partner cheats on you with the same sex (tht's a girl point of view I guess).
