I don know what kosher is but after seing some of the ans kosher is halal. Well, being halal and makin it halal is strict process n im sure the community in-charge of koshering that particular food should know what they doing. What i do know theres few simple procedure of the whole process of halal(or kosher whatever it is).
The basic is to kill the animal the best way possible. The knife MUST be ultra sharp for reducing it pain by quick painlless end. The head must NOT be chop off during that process until that animal ends its life completely as it is inhuman to do so. After that process that animal must be hung upside down to drain all blood fully coz blood is haraam in ISLAM. Simply because blood causes lots and lots of complication to human body if its consume. Scientifically proven!! All this procedure MUST start with recitation "In the name of ALLAH(S.W.T)(God) All-Gracious Al-Mighty, All Merciful."
Islamic process of this has also been approved too by the Germans as the best way possible to kill an animal. So this is the basic of making the food halal and i don't know if there is any other better way better to do it. There are more to this topic but i guess this should be good enough for both our basic knowledge of HALAL.
If the procedure has been told to be done that way then we MUST do exact that way as Allah(S.W.T)(GOD) knows what we know not.
