there are loads of thigns you could do to fix this:-
cover it with concealer and / or foundation
lay cool camomile teabags over your eyes for 8 - 15 minutes
sprinkle thyme, and camomile into a bowl of boiling hot water. Hold your face over th bowl so the steam just hits your face. Hold a towel over your head to stop the steam escaping. Stay like this for around 15 mintues.
Dice some bananas into a bowl, mush them up with a dribble of honey, some camomile, milk, moisturiser and coconut milk. Mix it all up into a cream. Dab it under your eyes, and lay 2 slices of cold banana or cucumber over your eyes for 10 minutes. Rinse off.
Get plenty of sleep, drink as much water as possible and try not to wear any eye makeup for a few days.

go to one of those stores that have makeup demonstrators like nordstrom or macy's and let them try something thst gives the look you want. That way you don't waste money experimenting. Then buy a tube of the stuff they used. It may cost $20 but will last a while.
People use stuff to make their eyes look dark, whu not to look light.
I did that once to hide a black eye. It woerked

It could be a vitamin deficiency or just hyper pigmentation. Try vitamin C and E. Break open a capsule of vitamin c and dab the area gently. Also, like I said, take your vitamins regularly. The c should help lighten the area but it is going to take some time.

If it's because of lack of sleep I would suggest trying to get some shut eye, if you still have darkness under eyes, try some tea bags soaked in hot water, sqeeze them out when cool and lay them on your eyes...make sure they are cold before you do though!!
