"Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them undertheir feet, and turn again and rend you. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened..."
Matthew 7:6-12

Should you give your faith, trust and love to those who are like "swine": those who do not comprehend the gift you give them?

Mark 6:11
And whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!”

I don't think it means faith, trust or love but that you should not give the sacred mysteries, the power in Christianity to those who would neither respect or understand it. It's worth pointing out no-one listens to Jesus on this point since the holy things are possessed and claimed by many people who misuse them and say that only they are correct, oppressing the others. There are many pharisees around today making outrageous claims - but God will give what is holy directly to you

'Jesus said the pharisees and the scribes are like dogs guarding cattle, they neither eat themselves or let the cattle eat'

They say the Creator (God) is in all of us, so if you doubt the Creator then you would most certianly be doubting yourself.
You should always try to help those in need.
As quoted by Jean Jacques Rousseau "What wisdom can you find that is greater than Kindness?"
Sometimes people look to deeply into the Bible as in looking for mixed messages, coded messages etc.. well just look at it simply the answers are right there before you.

See, this is what happens when you take something out of context, and fail to read the whole chapter, much less book.
Jesus did not say "don't teach the Gospel to ignorant people." He was sending missionaries out with a specific mission. He sent others to preach to other groups. He, Himself, taught to gentiles, sinners, etc.

That's not what that means. It means that there are deeper truths that we should not try to reveal to non-christians as they won't understand and then try to turn them back around on us..... much like you are doing with this question.
