I have no Idea what greyware is.

it is software that is to be sold with a PC or other device that is sold separately. It is not pirated, but it isn't being sold in a manner that is totally legal. For example Microsoft might offer a version office to computer makers to bundle with a PC system. the PC maker then might take the office CD and license still shrink wrapped and sell it separate. This isn't pirated but it is being sold against the terms of the agreement.

Greyware refers to a malicious software or code that is considered to fall in the "grey area" between normal software and a virus. Greyware is a term for which all other malicious or annoying software such as adware, spyware, trackware, and other malicious code and malicious shareware fall under.

interesting term; I would say it is either software with a grey interface :P or perhaps more likely, software that operates in the 'grey area' of the law, so between fully legal and fully illegal.

Maybe p2p2 software could be defined as such?

maybe u mean gray wire..or the data cable or dsl cable...that cable is plug to the modem and the other end to ur fonjack
