If you honestly don't care about winning or losing money, and are just going to AC for a good time - sure - play roulette....it's fun, it's mindless, very social, etc.

However - no serious gambler - serious about making money would EVER play roulette. The odds are against you, and although you can maybe get lucky on a spin & walk away from the table ahead - over the long run, the roulette wheel will suck your wallet dry.

The only game you can play where the odds aren't stacked against you is poker, where you aren't playing against the casino, but against fellow patrons....the casino gets the same cut no matter who wins - so the odds aren't against you.

As someone said above, your best chance in one of the "regular" games would be blackjack - IF you know optimal strategy. I believe SOME (not all) of the video poker games can be beat as well - but you have to know which game to play & optimal strategy.

Of all the table games in AC Roulette has the worst odds. Around 11% in favor of the house. Compare that to Craps where the house odds can be as low as 1.4% Most of the problem with American Roulette centers around the fact that there is a zero and a double 0.
The best odds (still) in any casino is BlackJack and Craps. But read a book (MENSA Guide to Casino Gaming as an example) before playing since the odds can vary greatly depending on what you do and how you play.

nah, forget roulette anywhere. learn craps, there's this guy in las vegas called Gene (long grey or blond hair) who makes a living from it. I wouldn't know how to contact him, but perhaps try asking at Ceasars palace, they did a show on gambling there and he was one of the featured people. I was witness how he made 40.000$ in one hour for another guy...
