Does it bother anyone else to hear someone say/ask how to I 'make' someone do something?

Such as how to I 'make' them love me more or how do I 'make' them have sex with someone else.
To me it seems if they aren't doing what you want now, 'making' them do it is pretty silly, as it wastes both of your time.
