do i need a specific camera for me to edit the green background they use in photoshoots or videoshoots?

you would need a digital camera or a digital video camera. you would need a computer program to change the blank color from green to what ever you wanted it to be.

Ideally, you must use a digital camera (for both photography and videography). That way, when you transfer the images or video files to the computer, the quality and resolution are not diminished.

However, you can use regular format cameras too.

In photography, you can scan the printed photos to convert them into digital format (you lose quality of image though) or convert the film itself into digital format (you still lose quality of image).

In videography, analog video can also be converted into digital format. Again, the quality of the images is lost considerably.
