The one thing I would like from a girl, in this occasion, would be a nice, polite and cheerful atmosphere, created by her presence.
I am Greek and not so accustomed to having a girl pay a dinner, but
in exchange, I'd like a warm atmosphere and a high interest during our time out. Simple as that!

In the bygone era it was gentlemanly to pay for his lady, this days its called showing off, but best answer to your question would be to be polite and thank him and also tell him that the next time thr treat is on you.

I would let him pay...but i don't ever expect him to pay...i have been dateing the same guy for a while and i pay sometimes and he does sometimes.
