Yes it is, maybe he just want you to be the mommy of his child. Sounds sweet and why not call him daddy too? It feels like he just wants to have a family with you.

Yes mommy is becoming the new word. It is weird because we don't know where men get that from but I guess it means the same as honey, sweetie, or baby.

Thats just plain weird if you ask me. Why would you want to call your girl your "mommy"? You never know now days though! It may be one of those new lingo words.

he probably means MAMI as you can address him back as PAPI. it is a Spanish thing, and it is a term of endearment.

but if you're uncomfortable with it, do let him know :)

your man more than likely listens to rap, and because of that is trying to act or talk like the rappers. mommy is the new word for b*tch, instead or shes my b*tch, she is now my mommy, its not as derogitory, but its along the same ghetto as$ lines... i would tell him to stop

My dad calls my mom mommy and vice versa.
My mom is happy 'bout that 'cause she prefers it to sweetie which our neighbour calls his wife.
