Or would it be correct : "Last Tuesday I started to work"?

Correct usage would be "Last Tuesday, I started work." The first one you listed is incorrect because of mis-matched tenses. The second phrase, while technically correct, does not require the word 'to' in front of the word 'work'.

I think it should be "I started work last tuesday" saying i started to work raises the question"have u never worked before, in ur entire life?"
