Okay here is the problem: Whenever I view a trailer at a site called gametrailers.com, sometime as soon as it opens the trailer in quicktime or window media player format (whichever I chose) I get pop up saying "Sorry for the inconvinience, but internet exlorer needs to shut down due to an ad-on error" Now the ad-on is listed as "Flash9.ocx". I tried reinstalling the flash9, but I get the same error. I even tried to delete the ad-on & tried reinstalling it, but I get the same error. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

I think I know what you mean...by add-on you mean like a toolbar, right? If so than when you have to do is get on the internet. Go to "Tools" and under that there's a "manage add-ons", click on it. Highlight whichever one it is and click "disable". That should do it... hope it helped

Begin by first clicking on the Start Button.

Then click on Run Icon, which will open up the Run Menu for you.

Locate the white area of the screen next to the word Open: in the Run Menu.

Now type sfc /scannow into the white input area and click on the OK button.

The System File Checker program will launch and scan for files that are no longer intact.

Windows XP may ask you to Insert your Windows XP CD Rom, so please have it available.

A progress indicator bar will display and the program will exit on its own when finished.

It would probably be best to reboot your computer after the program finishes.

Update to IE7. It was just released and if you have the Yahoo toolbar you have a button right in the middle that tell you to click it to get IE7.

Personally, I like the new layout.

When you are ready to buy a new system, go to www.stupidcheapcomputers.net. I buy all of my stuff from them.

I bought a complete, new system from them with a warranty for LESS than it would cost me to build it myself or order a custom one from the manufacturer. You can use my frequent buyer code: ATX926. That will get an additional 10% discount at checkout.

I have NEVER had any problems with anything that they have sold me and their customer service is outstanding. Those guys blow my mind.

Good luck!
