I cut myself to blame myself on something. The cutting pain helps to wash my problems away. I want it to stop. Is there anyway I could find something to keep me from cutting?

Cutting is usually the sign of another problem, in the same way that coughing and sniffling is a sign that you're infected with the cold virus.

Professional help is definitly indicated here.

And, you can release the same endorpines -- those powerful mood-altering drugs that your brain produces when you hurt yourself -- by some really hard exercise. Crank up the music, get in touch with those feelings, and put all that energy into lifting weights, running, hitting a bag, etc. Do the exercise until you can't move anymore. I ride long distances on my bicycle, and a sore butt doth my soul well.

2.take an ice cube and place it on ur wrist or somewhere with a pulse
3.turn ur music up really loud
4.talk 2 ur family bcuz it really helps u when u no people care

I second the running option. If you're into pain, running until it hurts and beyond is a great feeling!

You do need to talk to a therapist or counselor though. Make sure it's someone you believe you can trust. Talk to someone about this. Take care of yourself and go out for a run next time you feel like doing that again.

Yes. Seek treatment in an appropriate center. You may find that a combination of anti-depressants and group therapy will help you find the serenity to avoid this kind of behavior. One of the best clinics is called creativecare in California, but there are hosts of others as well.

Yes, Stop cutting yourself and get some help. Best method in the world. What Gabe said also works, but in the end, getting a proffesional is going to help you in the long run. My friend use to do this until finally his parents got him help. Now he see's a therapist and takes anti depresents and he's pretty fine now.

go to one of the rehab places but that would mean telling people about it, and you probably dont wanna do that yet.
Maybe keep all sharp objects out of instant reach.
Uhm...what about telling the school councellour?
Oh and wear long sleeve shirts or wristbands to cover it up until u get better.
