we work together and she knew i liked her. she knew i was gay too. one night i called to ask if she was bi, and she said no. i made it clear i was disapointed, but left it at that. 2 weeks later she told the boss she was uncomfortable by it. he confronted me. i told him that she was bragging to everyone that i liked her and telling people i'm gay. he confronted her. now we work together on sundays. i ignored her the first sunday since, and then this last sunday, she was being extra nice to me... it really bothered me and made it difficult to ignore her. any suggestions/comments please? thanks you so much...

If you are going to remain working there then ignoring them is not an option. So what you do is smile and be professional on your job. Do not offer any other type of dialog with her. Concentrate on your responsibilities and be pleasant to everyone.

Well first off you probably should have not have asked if she was bi it might have been better to play detective to find out her sexual orientation but at the same time its wrong for her to tell your business and maybe you can tell your boss that you feel uncomfortable with her and ask not to work Sundays with her and if that doesn't work go above his head or as a last result find a new job or tell her how you feel let it be known apologize if you offended her by asking her if she was bi

Your boss shoud fire you.

I would. Dating at work should be banned. It makes things complicated when it shouldn't be.

STOP HAVING "FEELINGS" for her, treat her with respect and be polite. Go date someone somewhere else, quit wasting your boss's money by thinking of gay sex when you should be concentrating at work.

Be professional. Be nice to her. Let her be nice to you. I'd strongly recommend, however, that neither of you take the niceties outside the workplace. Your life will be easier if you have a professional rapport with her, and your life will become hell if you take it outside the workplace.

I think you overstepped yourself by asking if she were bi. You need to approach her and talk to her. If she is being nice to you, perhaps she has put it behind her and your should too. Why ignore someone. That's wrong and rude.

i think you both have to apoligise to each other for being nasty and saying nasty thing about each other. the second thing is that you have to honest with her regarding your feelings and take it from there. good luck
