Krishna only knows. I've been wondering the same thing but have avoided his troll trap so far.
Raju is a front for a bunch of Indians working the tech jobs that were exported to them a few years back. It must be like 1,000 Hindus in cubicles answering Y!A questions on the side at work.

It seems quite possible that he is attempting to get people to do some research in order to answer questions that he already knows the answers to, so that others may become educated about Hinduism without his having to violate the community guidelines and just say stuff outright.
This is just a guess.
I don't think his questions are stupid. But they do seem pointless, in that the questions do not seem intended for the purpose of his gleaning knowledge but for the purpose of our gleaning knowledge. While anyone's gleaning knowledge isn't a pointless enterprise, it is a pointless question when the asker already knows the answer...on a Q&A forum, anyway.

According to his blog, he asks questions knowing full well the answers. He says he does it because he wants to get some Hindu questions on the board, instead of all the Christian questions which are the main focus.
I think he is just making Hinduism look bad, and I wish he'd stop.

He does not know the truth about God and the second coming of Jesus. He also does not realize that it is a sin to worship graven immages as the Hindus do. He needs to read the Gospel and his questions might stop.

You are one of the reasons why I go to yahoo answers; you slay me. He's first on the leaderboard. You should see his 360 page, it's mind bending, but don't take my word for it.

He did this yesterday also, he'll ask about 50 questions then go away.
He'll report you if you answer anything stupid also.
I reported him but I don't know if they'll do anything about it.

If you don't like them, ignore them, just as I do. But calling them 'stupid' is unnecessarily aggressive, unless you can account for that word.
