God gives everyone the same chance of salvation. Jesus died on the cross for everyone's sin. I'd say this means God loves everyone equally.

Yes, God loves each of us, each one of whom he created unique in all creation, infinately much. It makes no sense that the all-powerful and everliving God who IS love, and created everything and everyone in God's own image, out of love, would love one of his creatures less than another. Besides the quote from John 3:16, there is the parable of the lost sheep. The good shepherd leaves the other 99 behind, and out of love goes to find and protect the lost one- meaning the person who is screwing up. You can see it in the people Jesus chose to keep company with. He chose the social pariahs, like tax collectors and prostitutes-the lost sheep-to be his friends. Jesus also said in the final discourse in the Gospel of John to love one another as he had loved us.

Jhn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jhn 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Jhn 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Hi!

I have never come across evidence that suggests that He does not...

ONLY some people go higher in persuit for God and God seem to be drawn to them...e.g.

Isaiah 66:2

"...saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my Word."

God seem to be drawn to those who are humble and honours His Word!

It is like...I love all my children equally but I seem to enjoy spending time with a certain one because she is obedient and is a nice person to be with...she is not moody, she's not too proud to say "I'm sorry Dad"...

The other children who do not behave this way are loved equally for when I buy my family some things,I buy for all of them.

Hope you understand.Hug!

Yes.

John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

He loved the WORLD. Not just part of it. And He still loves the world, because:

Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."

Jesus as part of the Trinity is also God and if he loves us by extension God loves us.

Well I believe he loves us just like a father would love us, some of our kids we are more happier than others with when they do right not that they are not loved. Just look at the people of moses they wandered for 40 years because they did not obey by makeing graven images.

Somebody already provided supporting Bible verses, so they did the job for me. ;-)

But pure love is pure love. There are no degrees to it. God either loves or he doesn't. Since he does, it would seem reasonable to conclude that he loves all of us equally, his love being pure, and his having that same pure love for us all.

But I could be wrong, not knowing the mind of God.

Yes my dear...I believe God loves every being equally. Isn't He the creator of all. Isn't He our Father. How can our Father not love us.

I dont believe so, as it is written "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated." I think it was because Esau was irreverent and sold out his birthright for a meal.
