I have used Eucerin and Aveena with oatmeal with good results, you may also try adding oatmeal to a warm tub...not too warm as it will dry out your skin. You may have an alergy...see it a mild antihstimine helps.

St Ives Fresh H2O is a good, thick mositurizing lotion that absorbs into the skin quickly and leaves it feeling soft, not sticky or oily. Baby Magic baby lotion is also very good.

I'd suggest, though, that first you take a shower and use a good exfoliant (something with microbeads or a sugar/salt scrub), followed by a moisturizing bath gel (St Ives Fresh H2O is also available as a bath gel), and then apply either a good quality baby oil (like Johnson's or Baby Magic) or the H20 moisturizer BEFORE drying off your skin. Then, when you dry off, blot rather than rub, or just slip on a terry robe and 'air dry'.

I love Enchanted Hollow lotions! They have shea butter which is awesome on dry skin! It's handmade and all natural and comes in lots of scents. I prefer it over all of the supermarket brands.

when it's really itchy i like aloe vera gel.. i use it on my legs after i shave. Another good one is Cocoa Butter-it's super rich and nourishes your skin but don't use it on your face(cause it clogs pores)
Baby oil also works well and it's dirt cheap
