I was numb, because I couldn't hold my breath. I just left right after him ....He did not say anything about my gas noise (not loud) I was standing around him when he was talking on the phone. I felt really embarrased.

Laugh it off. Hopefully the guy realizes that you're a human being, and therefore flatulate on occasion. As long as you don't appear to take pride in your "performance" it may actually endear you to him. "Perfect ladies" seem to get boring to most guys. But I'm an old married lady, what do I know?

Excuse urself and try to forget about it, after-all, every human on this earth does it. If he is so small as to hold that against u,then he isn`t much of a man to begin with. What if the reverse were true, what would ur reaction be, would u think less of him ? What do u think married couple do after 25 years together, and accidentally pass gas in front of one another, get a divorce, I think not. So don`t lose sleep over it.

Of course, it's too late now. But if that happens in the future, the thing to do is this:

Run around in circles flapping your arms and making farting noises with your lips. If he asks what you're doing, stop immediately. Look deeply into his eyes and say, "Why do you ask?" This not only disguises the passing of gas, but makes you seem to him like a mysterious and fascinating person.

Though very embarassing, as long as he didn't comment, leave it alone. If it happens again, just say , "pardon me", and leave it at that. Bringing too much attention to something often makes the embarassment last longer than needful. Gas happens, just like a burp, hiccup or even your stomache growling. Pardon the noise, then forget it. <*)))><

The average human passes gas about fourteen times a day. Yes, it's embarrassing, but everybody does it. Cut yourself a break. Besides, it's a very appealing characteristic to be able to laugh at yourself.

Before you go on your next date, run to the Dollar store and buy a box of anti-gas pills and make sure you eat a couple before the date!

that happened to me. i was embarrassed too, but tried not to show it, i just laughed and said "whoops!" guys like girls who can laugh at themselves, who wants to be with a boring, serious dud? any anyway, if it wasn't loud, chances are he didn't even hear it, especially if he was talking on the phone. besides, it's a normal human function, and like shrek says "better out than in!" try that the next time it happens.

No point in being embarassed. Everyone does it. It is a natural part of our systems. Move past it and, if this is meant to be, you will both laugh about it later anyway.

Laugh it off! Everyone passes gas...the more anxious about it you are..the more anxious he will be. If you just relax about it hes less likely to freak out!
