You are a moron if you are engaged and don't know what women like. They like men that know what women like.

If you have seen the kind of jewelry she wears jewelry always makes a really "gifty" gift. It doesn't have to be horribly expensive. There are some very nice pieces of jewelry within anyone's budget.

A few women don't like them, but flowers are usually good.

If there's something she'd like such as a iPod or some other less expensive piece of electronics or accessory (if that's what you want) things like this make good gifts.

If she has a camera or computer there may be accessories for either to buy as gifts.

If there is a particular kind of book she likes or a particular type of art or sculpture she seems to like - those are other ideas.

My favorite would probably be the combo (even if not very expensive) bunch of flowers and jewelry in a gift box with a nice bow.

My goodness, if u don`t know the likes or dislikes of ur fiancee by this time, I think ur in a bit of trouble. Its too bad u didn`t state if there is an occasion for the present. Is it her birthday or an engagement gift or u just want to buy her something. If its her birthday, a nice floral arrangement, a birthday card and dinner at a nice restaurant is good. If its for ur engagement, a ring is what most women expect (whatever u can afford) If just a gift, to show ur love, a weekend get-a-away of her choice is romantic. Good luck and happiness to u both.

The best gift I ever got my wife was some cheap candle-holders for her birthday. We didn't have much money but she had commented a couple of months previously how pretty they looked. So I bought them. She was delighted that I had remembered such a small thing.

If you don't know your fiancee well enough to know what she'd like, I hope you are doing the right thing marrying her.

One of those huge flat screen TV's that hook up to the computer would be cool! Plus Mr. could watch his football games on it lol! Kids could play there games on it lol!

Your fiancé has her own likes. What is something she loves? She loves to cook get her new cookeries, she loves computers/electronics go to the electronics store. Jewelry is lame, however some woman like this.

Talk with her and really listen, she will drop hints....Shoot I get excited over a mocha from the coffee place in town lol!

It would help to know how much you can spend. I have been married 49 years, yes, to the same man. I don't like surprises. I like to shop with my man and chose what I like and want. Same goes for him. If we spend money, we spend it together. That way you don't waste money on an unwanted gift. You could send her flowers with a message asking her to go birthday shopping and a dinner date. You could start a gift tradition with out the head ache of wondering what to by each other.

OK, diamonds are cool, but what's better is something less generic, and more tuned to her personality. Best of all is something you made, or do for her. Something that she knows you really put time and thought into. Let's say that she likes to read. Build her a book shelf. Even if it's wobbly and lopsided she'll keep it forever. (Unless she's shallow.)
