I'm in college and there's a girl I'm interested in, however, she is a virgin and she has never even kissed a guy before but she is very friendly with guys. She's very down to earth and nice, kind of like a tomboy in the sense she likes fishing and sports but that's it. Me and my friend have both known her for a year now and my friend fell for her but she had no interest. The other day, out of nowhere, in front of my friend and I she told me "you have a good body." Last year, she said I was "cute" which I knew meant in the little boy sense. But she complimented my body this year and told me I looked "handsome" on the one day where I fixed myself up. I don't want to sound insecure but I'd like to ask you guys not if I have a shot, but what does it mean when a girl calls a guy "handsome?" What does it mean when she tells you "you have a good body?" Is it just another two compliments or are they signs of interest? Thanks a lot guys.

well, I'm just like the girl you've described, and i can say, that if i told a guy, he's cute, and ha has a good body, i definitely like him. saying you were cute means, she's intellectually interested in you, she considers you a good person, having a good body ---> she's interested in you as her boyfriend. She seems like a cool girl, and an honest one, so yes, i definitely think she's interested. (if you were honest in the question). if you hang out more with her, you will know if she really likes you, these things cannot be hidden. Just take it slowly, and you'll be fine, trust me, i know the type :-))

Dated a girl like that and it was definitely worth it. We met on a blind date, so the normal "does she like me" stuff was easier to avoid. This girl couldn't flirt worth anything, but she was awesome and the relationship rounded itself out once we went out a few times and realized we were into each other. Not knowing how to flirt and being inexperienced, does not indicate that a girl is a prude.
And if she tells you you've got a nice body, feel free to return the compliment.

she might be interested but what kind of college girl hasn't even kissed a guy?? so i wouldnt count on her for a relationship, she is prude and pry isn't going to want to be in a relationship, she was pry just trying to be nice and give a compliment, i compliment my guy friends when i think they look nice and it means nothing more than hey you look nice
