Well, at Youth Group(every Tuesday night), we have graffiti boards. We write on them what we're feeling, and what we need help with so people that see the postings(whether you put your name or not) can pray for you. I wrote that I don't think I'm fufilling my purpose in life, and that I don't think I'm trying that hard to either, I asked God if He coul help me along the way? What can I do to become a better Christian? Please, if you're not going to be helpful, don't answer.

1)I'm lesbian(im NOt)
2)I'm bulimic(also not sorry if i spelled it wrong)
3)A rumor that i said my old friend left the school because she was pregnant.(which she came to my door after not seeing me for a year to see if it was true)

Everytime I think about if I would EVER convert to another religion, then I can't imagine it...because I've learned so much about who God is.

Yeah, I feel for you. I also don't feel like I do such a great job fulfilling my purpose. I am trying to really seek God more. I pray to Him about my future, and that I can do what needs to be done in the meantime that is the right thing to do.

I think it is helpful to set aside some time each day to pray and to ask God to guide you, and to read Scripture. I think the ideal is to make all our actions as offerings to God.

On the rumors: that can be awfully hard to deal with. I'm sorry that people say such things that aren't true. I think you might find inspiration in the Psalms.

You could read some books as they can answer far more questions than a simple forum. After all here are normal people and they might not be the best real life example.

I give you two titles. The first is about the life of a normal man moving from the Rationalistic and Buddhist approach to Christianity and the second is an old book about just your question. So one is about somebody like you who lead a perfect life in the end and the second is just a set of advices. I gave you the ISBN (international book number) of the paper cover so they wouldn't be expensive.

Father Seraphim Rose: His Life and Works by Hieromonk Damascene ISBN: 1887904077

The Path to Salvation: A Manual of Spiritual Transformation by St. the Recluse Theophan ISBN 1887904506

To become a better Christian is to always put God before everything else. This is a very hard thing to do. We Christian fail at this everyday.
Start talking with your Heavenly Father like you would your earthly father. Tell Him how much you love Him and how much you want to get closer to Him.
Tell God how proud you are of Him. All parents love to hear that. But most of all, you must do it all in His Will. In the name of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ.
Read the Scriptures everyday and learn from them. the Scriptures will reveal to you what God wants you to know for this point in your life.
I easy to be a better Christian. Stay in His Will.><>

And I'm as happy as ever!! I'm sorry to hear how you're feeling!! Get some Christian song and sing them with JOY!! Read Matthew 5-7...it'll really help!! Actually read the whole New Testament!! It'll really help you!!

I pray that God will help you along the way!!

Just show care to those around you and be a good hearted person basically, your probably already like that though.:) Don't let people pull you down to their level, but at the same time try to understand why they are the way they are.

Sounds like the other people there aren't too Christian, not suppose to judge you right. If anything they should be more caring.

Just by taking the time to examine your heart like you have, you have made a big step in the right direction. God bless you! I would say to pray that God show you what His plan for you is...and I would encourage you to prepare your heart for this as well. For He will surely show you. The real question is, when He does, will you be ready and willing to follow it!

Also, don't allow Satan to steal your joy by making you feel like you are coming up short, or that you need to be in a rush all the time....remember Psalm 23....

It is very simple: Seek God's will for your life.

Tell him that you feel that you aren't fulfilling your purpose, and ask him if he would guide you in fulfilling the purpose he created for you. Have faith along the way that once you hand your life back to God by accepting Christ's mercy, God begins shaping it so that you do fulfill his purpose for you on this earth...provided that you seek his will, and ask for his strength to carry it out once it becomes apparent to you.

Also, if you have accepted the gift of salvation through Jesus, you can be assured that you have fulfilled your main purpose. Your vocation is another matter, though, and God will certainly guide you if you continue to seek him.

Seek his will in all things, and you will grow and change in wondrous ways that you cannot yet imagine.

To be a good Christian, you have to follow the 2 most
important commandments that Jesus said :-

1) To love God with all your heart, your mind, your
soul and with all your might;

2) To love one another as Jesus loves us

The above two encompasses all the 10 commandments.
Sounds easy? It's harder that you think. Superficial
actions does not count as God can see through our
hearts. Practice makes perfect, so work on it &
I wish you success.

Pray for God's guidance, read your Bible daily, make a consicience effort to treat others the way you think Christ would treat you. and tell others about Jesus and the path to Salvation. Also it is important to attend church often for many reasons, the fellowship with other believers, the teaching of God's Word, and it helps keep you focused on the Lord.

Simply spend time with God to know Him better. As you know Him more, you will love Him more. As you love Him more, you will find it easier to be like Him in your actions, words, and thoughts. There is no quick formula. It's journey to know Him more. Most of all it's a relationship. You build a relationship through spending time with a person. You can spend time with Him through reading the Scriptures, prayer, and worship.
