In our current society, Evidence and Scientific Thought seem to prevail above instinct and intuition.

Why do you believe in that which you have neither seen nor heard? For what reason do you have faith?

Because I saw nothing worth believing in about the human race when I was a child, there had to be more than this. It's always been belittling to me to be called a human. I look forward to being around intelligent decent people at some point.

Ever since I was a child I have always felt that there was more to this life than what I could see. I felt the presence of God inside of me from the moment I reach the age of reason. I looked around me everyday to see the majesty of creation.

From that young boy to this man I have never been alone from Him. God has been the greater part of my life all my life.

Some of us that are alive today are called God's Elect. We have been given the understanding of certain things that others will never have. It comes at a great price though. We will be required to stand before the Satan and give testimony of our faith.

We were found worthy from before the foundations of this Earth Age and sanctified for service in this Earth Age. You do know about the three Earth Ages do you not? 2nd Peter will give you insight to this.

Our Father leads us to His Word, Jesus Christ for the purpose of choosing. Make the right choice and live.><>

I cannot see the air, yet I breathe. I cannot see the mind, yet I think. I cannot see a conscience, yet I have one. I cannot see an atom, yet I know it exists. I cannot see love or awe, yet I'm filled with them. Belief is something that makes sense to you, either logically or intuitively. I believe in things I can see, and in science, reason, evolution....but I reserve the right to believe what no one else can prove...that God is the Creator. To me it makes perfect sense, but it has been a journey. Who knows what I will believe down the road. Unlike people with a religion, I am free to learn and change without fear of guilt, recrimination, or punishment.

I believe in God becuase I am completely and utterly insane. In my opinion I have heard the words and have seen the glory of God.

Why do I have faith? This is a very long story. In simplicity I used to be a very evil person. I lived to cuase people misery and overall decrease their life expectancy by stressing them out. Dispite being such a loser in my past a rather nice old lady decided to teach me about honorable and mysterious ways. Dispite being a wicked man this lady never gave up, she saved my very soul from the darkest of deaths. I believe that only God could have told her I was capable of being saved. My family was not very pleasant in regards to me and I lived many of my days in fear of them. During her lessons she taught me about how the mind effects the world around us and about a prophecy that to this day has not missed a single event. I used this knowledge and sure enough my family though split many ways are a very fun and loving people. I have to believe that God did this becuase the greatest magickian in the world could not come close.

I believe in God becuase God chose to believe in me first. It is undeniable.

Hails to the truth,

You have said very clear that it is our current society that places more importance onto evidence and scientific thought, the fact is faith and science does not necessarily contradict each other.

Scientists can have faith (e.g. einstein), just as believers can drive a car!

I believe because in real life I experience frequent physical pain, and constant emotional/psychological pain. I've done good deeds, never hurt anyone, but I'm plagued by "impure thoughts"... and I think I'm being punished for it. I recently had a toothache - I woke-up two days later in the I.C.U. being checked for a stroke and neurological damage. Is this just bad luck, or as the saying begins "Thank God..."

Believing in god is part of the human condition, the recognition that there is something greater than the "self". without it, there is no Humanity.
"God" is a manifestation of this humility. An athiest does not believe in a diety, however, that does not mean or imply they have no sense of humility, or that they are less human.
To answer your question, you have to define "god" for yourself.

I do not believe in one supreme being and do not recognize any "prophet". Spirituality is the essence of what we are and what we will become one day... the world in which we live is a culmination of very unfortunate and very fortunate accidents perpetuated by desires
