Yes, I would die for my faith in Jesus (not the religion of Christianity). Right now the Karen and Chin people in Burma (Myanmar) are dying for their beliefs as we speak, and being persecuted in other horrible ways. So in answer to your other question; I am planning to go over there to help them after I get out of college. They are our brothers and sisters, and that is where the battle is the fiercest right now.

My religion and I are not seperate. We live as a single unity of truth. I have no choice but to die for my religion. Be it by the sword or time itself take me.
Would I do something for another suffering people? This is not a yes or no question. I will protect my family, my home, my friends, and children without question. I will not engage in any fight I do not know the meaning of. Even a bank robbery would not pull me into battle, suppose the theives are trying to buy medicine for a sick child, to get food for their family. Dispite this being a poor choice they are not wicked people. If I engage in a fight I may unwillingly assist the agressor. The reason I can protect children anywhere for any reason is becuase a child is not capable of committing an offense so horrible they deserve a beating or worse. I can also defend them becuase a child is not capable of defending themselves from a truly wicked person. I will not break up childhood fights. Plainly put they can not really harm one another unless they find a weapon.

To die is an honor, to die is to gain. Soldier of god, fearless before the enemy, if they don't like it too bad because you are going to hear it. They surround, good, the more the merrier, for i speak what i am told but thank god for a nation which is open and does not kill people for their religious beliefs.
Forgive my words, i spoke too much when the time comes watch me then i will really answer your question.

no, I wouldn't die for my religion, because my religion doesn't require that. It's a very accepting one. Honestly, I think it's not right that people are being killed because of their religion, but at the same time, if they live in an area where the majority of the residents are NOT OF THE SAME RELIGION and they KNOW their lives are in danger if they openly state their religion as opposed to moving to another area/country/city/whatever or pretending, then it's kinda their fault.

I think that anyone who has the conviction to die for their belief is someone to admire. Thomas Moore was a good example.
The question I think you are more interested in is would you Kill for your Religion?
My answer to that is an unequivocal no. To kill is to attack, to attack is to fear. I need fear nothing, thus attack nothing. Would I die to prove my faith? Why should I? How can a person who is dead be an example to follow. Ever wonder why Osama never strapped explosives to his chest? Because he doesn't want to die. He and people like him are nothing but murderous beings with hate and fear controlling their actions.

I would if it came down to that. Thank God I'm not in a country that does that!
What can a person do to stop people from doing this in other countries??? I dont think it will ever stop.

my religion is not about death it is about life.
if all a psychotic gunman wants me to do to let me go is to tell him that i will parise his god.. i can convert for 10 seconds untill he lowers the gun. it is not like it means anything. my gods understand that my faith and love is for them. but that my life is a very importent thing and that i will not waste it on some principal of defiance. if someone is holding a gun on me i will tell them anything that they want to hear to get a chance to change the situation.
but on the other hand. dont let me get close enough to get ahold of that gun. because i will not give them the same deal that they were offering me.

I would die for God and His Son, Jesus Christ and I would die to keep my freedom of religion, my right to worship how, where or what I may, and I would die for my families right to worship the same.
