hmm, i'll fetch a little. i'd say a narrator, because without a narrator, many plays would lose their "magic". the healer that doesn't move, first art can be seen as therapeutic, and second his words can heal the characters of the story, but he doesn't move persay because all he is is a voice. once his story in motion he leads towards the climax, which will often seem like the downfall of the characters, that kind of pre-meditation could be seen as a trap because he walks the characters into it. and obviously, to the audience he tells the story.
