NOT WEIRD, DISGUSTING. you are 5 years older than them and they are still a CHILD!!!! emotionally, mentally and LEGALLY a child. walk away from it, find someone your own age and i recommend seeing a therapist about your lack of confidence. Good Luck...

It isn't weird. But it isn't the right time in life. Yes, wait until she is 18.

When I was 14 there was an 18 yr old interested in me and I had a huge crush on him. The summer I graduated from high school I was 18 and he was in grad school. I bumped in to him and he gave me a hug and said "you are 18 now right? Good becasue now I can date you"

I don't have time or space here to tell the whole story.....it is very romantic and like they say, sometime real life can be stranger than fiction.

You must be feeling weird to be asking the question! But in my opinion, YES, the age difference for one. 16 years is very immature to be dating a 21 year old ( considered adult) person.
The age difference alone would create considerable problems even as the relationship matured, a 16 year old still has to be disciplined by her/his parents, go to school.
Look at all the controversy started by that school teacher who had sex with one of her students ( for pete sake).
Seriously, do you need the headache? Can't you find someone your own age?

no it is not werid my brother is 17 and his girlfriend is 23. I don't approve of it b/c she is older than me. I am only 21 but you cant help who you fall for. I would advise you to wait till they are 18 but if you can't then keep it on the down low

I don't know for sure at that age, but I always say for me within 5 years of me, more than that gets to me a little bit. Way back before I was born, when my aunt and uncle were dating, she was 15 and he was 21. I'm not sure how old they were when they got married, but they've been married for 20+ years now. Things were probably a little different then than they are now, but it's possible that things would work out.

What does a 21 yr. old want to do with a 16 yr. old? That is creepy! You know the saying- 16 will get you 20(jail). 16 year old don't know no better but, 21 does. What do you have in common?

Yes, it definitely shows a lack of maturity. A 21 year old man should be able to maintain a relationship with a woman of his own age. If he cannot and seeks out teens, he has major issues. He obviously is not mature enough to relate to women his own age and needs to do some 'growing up'.

In my opinion if a 21 year old likes a 16 old one of them is either very mature or the other very immature

Do you remember what you were like at 16?

Have you changed much since then?

That's why we think it is weird that you should still be attracted to someone YOU KNOW is still a child compared to you at 21.
