What does El periodico means ? And is it pronounced like pay-ri-o-di-ko ?

"El periódico" (with an accent) means "The newspaper", and it is roughly pronounced as you indicate, only that instead of "pay" you should try to make a sound like "pen" without the final N, and "rio" is a diphthong, so it's one syllable.
