i had a try out with my sister for wedding gowns (she is getting married) and she picked out a gorgeous dress for me as i am her bridesmaid. after trying it on, it was indeed beautiful. but after we purchased it, i realised that i could see my tummy bulging out when i tried it on again at home! everything else is perfect except that part. im scared of bringing it to the tailor as ive been to some that really screwed up the cut and style of the dress before with other stuff. anyone knows what i should do? like, buy something to reduce the size of my waist so that i can look my best for my sister.. the wedding is on the 29th of october. any tips, like excersicing too?

exercise will not help by the 29th as it takes time for toning and that is really what the issue is, not actual weight, from the sound of it.

Go to your local dept store and look for a body shaper (spanx brand is one of the best I have seen) if you cant find a body shaper a girdle would be second best.
What you must keep in mind though is that what you see and what everyone else sees are not the same thing. Your sister and her groom are going to be the "stars of the show" so as long as your belly isnt protruding (a little belly bulge isnt unusual, very few women have truly FLAT tummies) people will probably not even notice.

Plan the marriage which you quite want. Yeah, there will be some factors that are the comparable. yet there will be many factors which would be diverse. additionally...think of of your customer record. Out of the one hundred travelers, basically a dozen or so would be relatives out of your area of the relatives. So for the different 88 travelers, they gained't be comparing your wedding ceremony on your sister's wedding ceremony. I hate to interrupt it to you, yet quite some the travelers won't bear in recommendations what your sister's topic or your topic have been. they are going to extraordinarily lots in simple terms bear in recommendations that they went to a marriage, that the bride regarded eye-catching, that there became a cake, and the meals became passable. and many travelers assume that siblings could have their reception in the comparable venue. except you're donning the right comparable dress as your sister, the undeniable fact that the two are created from lace is beside the point. The attire could nicely be wildly diverse from one yet another even nevertheless the two have lace.

I sympathise completely! i have my sister's best friends wedding the 28th and she's the maid of honor!
so here is the advice i gave her:
Do some crunches and "10 seconds" every day. Ten seconds consist of either grabbing onto the legs of a chair, or sitting on your hands and lifting your legs 6 inches off the ground for ten seconds intervals. This is great for the tummy muscles.
Also, sleeping on your stomach surprising helps, especially the night before. Don't eat eratically. Eat small regular meals (up to 6 small meals a day) so that your stomach doesn't go out of whack and absorb all the protein, fats, and nutrients.
Also, avoid starches and fats. Stick to the proteins and produce, but don't eat large amounts.
i hope this helps!

You could try getting a body wrap. They have been known to reduce several inches and are supposed to be good for you as well as they remove unwanted toxins out of your body. Most spas will provide body wrapping. I have a corporate party coming up in dec where I have to wear a formal dress and I too need to get rid of a little bulge in the belly area so that is what I plan on doing. I do have a little more time than you do, though so I plan on keeping up with my tummy crunches as well. If you do tummy crunches, be sure and do reverse crunches as too. This will help make your workout more effective. Hope this helps you. It's easy for me to tell you what works but when it comes to doing the work, well....

but a corset it will pull your tummy in.
the cheaper option as corsets can be expensive is to drink plenty of water the day before the wedding it will rehydrate your body which in turn will cause your tummy to flatten and your skin will look great too.
but if the dress is as gorgeous as you say then i wouldnt worry as peoples eyes will be focused on the dress not on your belly.

Take some water pills or collen pills, you can get them from your local GNC or health food store. Drink lot's of water, this will help when taking the pills. Trust me these pills really work and they help to flush out your system. They are not harmful to your body if you take them properly.

Also get you one of those inexpensive exercise balls (from T.J. Maxx) and lay around on it while holding your stomach in. You can do this while reading or watching television. It's fun!

Final suggestion go to Dillards, Macy's or T.J. Maxx and get you a Hanes for her panty gurtle, only ten bucks! and easy to put on, light and even comfortable, while still maintaing strong support.

Best of Luck and have a great time!

You could try doing it the hard way: Strict routine of Sit ups every single day. or the easy way: Anyone for a cheap corset from target the sucks all your fat in so you can't breathe? There ya go!

Get a shapewear body briefer, some examples below. Most department stores sell them.

try total control underwear it pinches in the waist, hips and thighs so no one will know you have it on, plus it comes in flesh colour. Try a few websites including www.figleaves.co.uk it should cost around £30.

Support underwear or a girdle would help, i don't know that exercises will help at this stage, but try sit ups and crunches.
