Genesis 18: 1-15, recounts the meeting of The Lord and Abraham. Sarah prepares a meal of cakes, a tender calf, butter and milk, and [THEY] 3 [MEN], The Lord, did eat. It was the Lord, according to verse 13-14. 18:13 And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old ?
18:14 Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Question: Did the Lord eat earthly food? † smile.

Yes according to the word he certainly did.
God provides food for us, the question is do people believe he "needs" food. No i dont believe he does. But in the society at the time it was customary to offer visitors especially honored visitors (which catagory im certain Abraham placed the Lord) cold water, and food and to bathe their feet was a luxury and a great comfort.
Knowing that cold water and food were something very valuable to those living in the tents to deny it would have insulted Abraham. God loves Abraham so he accepts the offer.

Does he require earthly food no.... could he bring himself to "sup" with someone he cares for absolutly.

A lot of people like to put God in a box and say he cant or wont do this or that. For example muslims say he cant have a son.

Its sad when people do this, when they put the almighty in a light of limitations. He is the All Mighty God of creation, he can do whatever he chooses to do.

God bless you excellent question :)

Aye He did. Which makes sense doesn't it? He is the Godman who will appear in the flesh and He is engaging in fellowship with some friends and eating food with others would appear to be one of the best forms of fellowship.
Christians believe in the ressurection of the body in heaven, so therefore the spiritual and the physical must both be holy and therefore why wouldn't Jesus eat when He was with others? There is certainly nothing wrong with it and it is a sign of friendship among those with bodies, allow Jesus wouldnt have had a body yet though.
Of course it would be important to remember that God doesnt need to eat I suppose.
Now this passage could also be viewed allegorically or symbolically or maybe its just a load of rubbish written 4000 years ago. I dont know. Thats all up to you.

The three men were angels sent by the Lord, not the Lord Himself in human disguise. These angels, like many angels that appeared to other men of the Bible, were in human form, physically and did eat and drink with humans.

The only time that the Lord came to earth in human form was when Jesus came. Jesus ate and drank and slept and worked like humans do. In the Old Testament, we see that the Lord came to people but it was angels that He sent or the Holy Spirit. To understand fully the original wording, you have to study the ancient Hebrew Bible and language. Some English translations today are wrong.

This is from the Quran, the Muslim Holy Book.

[11:69] When our messengers went to Abraham with good news, they said, "Peace." He said, "Peace," and soon brought a roasted calf.

[11:70] When he saw that their hands did not touch it, he**** became suspicious and fearful of them. They said, "Do not be afraid, we are being dispatched to the people of Lot."

[11:71] His wife was standing, and she laughed when we gave her the good news about Isaac, and after Isaac, Jacob.

[11:72] She said, "Woe to me, how could I bear a child at my age, and here is my husband, an old man? This is really strange!"

[11:73] They said,"Do you find it strange for GOD? GOD has bestowed His mercy and blessings upon you, O inhabitants of the shrine. He is Praiseworthy, Glorious."

[11:74] When Abraham's fear subsided, and the good news was delivered to him, he proceeded to argue with us on behalf of Lot's people.

[11:75] Indeed, Abraham was clement, extremely kind, and obedient.

[11:76] "O Abraham, refrain from this. Your Lord's judgment has been issued; they have incurred unavoidable retribution."

1 The LORD appeared to Abraham by the terebinth of Mamre, as he sat in the entrance of his tent, while the day was growing hot.
2 Looking up, he saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he ran from the entrance of the tent to greet them; and bowing to the ground,
3 he said: "Sir, if I may ask you this favor, please do not go on past your servant.
4 Let some water be brought, that you may bathe your feet, and then rest yourselves under the tree.
5 Now that you have come this close to your servant, let me bring you a little food, that you may refresh yourselves; and afterward you may go on your way." "Very well," they replied, "do as you have said."
6 Abraham hastened into the tent and told Sarah, "Quick, three seahs of fine flour! Knead it and make rolls."
7 He ran to the herd, picked out a tender, choice steer, and gave it to a servant, who quickly prepared it.
8 Then he got some curds and milk, as well as the steer that had been prepared, and set these before them; and he waited on them under the tree while they ate.
9 "Where is your wife Sarah?" they asked him. "There in the tent," he replied.
10 One of them said, "I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah will then have a son." Sarah was listening at the entrance of the tent, just behind him.
11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in years, and Sarah had stopped having her womanly periods.
12 So Sarah laughed to herself and said, "Now that I am so withered and my husband is so old, am I still to have sexual pleasure?"
13 But the LORD said to Abraham: "Why did Sarah laugh and say, 'Shall I really bear a child, old as I am?'
14 Is anything too marvelous for the LORD to do? At the appointed time, about this time next year, I will return to you, and Sarah will have a son."
15 Because she was afraid, Sarah dissembled, saying, "I didn't laugh." But he said, "Yes you did."

Yep even after His resurrection and we will eat with Him after our resurrection.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10
