I'm guessing you mean non-native language for this.
(1) Chinese
(2) Latin
(3) German
(4) Spanish
(1) Chinese is going to be one of the most important languages worldwide in the next generation or so. Also, it's a tonal language and sounds very musical and pretty when spoken. Learning written Chinese would be a huge challenge, but it would be almost like an art project at the same time. I also am interested in many of the Asian cultures, and language and culture are closely intertwined. Learning about one brings you closer to the other.
(2) I'm pretty good with English, and can recognize many words in both romance and germanic languages that come from Latin roots. I'd be very interested in learning Latin both as something interesting and as a grounding in several other languages at the same time.
(3) My ancestry is German, and it would connect me to my heritage more to know the language. I have documents from several generations back that are written in German, and I would love to be able to read them.
(4) Spanish is pretty big here in North America now. I can't say as it's really one of my "favorites", but I'll have to take three semesters of it to complete my degree, so I need to get interested in it.

1. Finnish: an interesting non-Indo European language
2. Spanish: very beautiful, sounds passionate
3. English: convenient to know as it's spoken widely, and I like the sound of it
4. Basque: mysterious and intrigueing language, that isn't part of a language family. I wish I could speak it!

1) British English - because you can speak for hours, sounding very smart, but actually not saying absolutely anything.
2)Finnish - so hard to learn, but really unique and exotic. When finally got hold of it, felt the biggest sense of achievement
3)Swedish - it's very melodic, and not hard to learn
4) Xhosa - I would love to learn how to make those strange sounds, but my friend told me I have very bad accent:-( Really unique sounding language!
