A vast majority of Americans do understand the circumstances that lead people to coming to America illegally. I think that the real reason people get heated over the idea is because when people come here illegally they do not pay taxes, which is a big thing in America. Every legal American is paying outrageous taxes and the idea of anyone slipping though is hard to not get angry over. Of course in a perfect world immigrating to America would not be hard and finding jobs would be a snap, but it's not. Another point to make, is that when a sick person goes to the ER they are automatically taken and if they can not pay then it falls on the government to pick up the slack. Now I am not accusing you of cheating the system, however it is prevalent in border towns such as El Paso and Laredo. So not only are we as citizens paying to take care of people who are here illegally we are also accepting anyone who can make it over the border. Now as an illegal immigrant you must see the very large decline in illegal immigrating. The government is not taking it anymore and deporting found persons to the very bottom of Mexico deep in the middle of nowhere. Is this right? Maybe, maybe not. Only the elections will decide the fate of a person such as yourself. Everyone reading. Please go out and vote, no matter what you support, VOTE!

OK first of all illegal means illegal. Second America must protect our borders. We have to control who comes in. There are people out there that want to destroy us.If you want to come to our country you must go through the proper channels. We will welcome you. As for poverty we will all be living in poverty if we don't control the large volume of people coming in.I have a question for you. Why don't the citizens of Mexico do something to change things? You must elect better government officials. You must stand up and demand your officials do something to change things for the good of your people. The United States is not the answer for Mexico's poor.

How about staying in your country and making your government get it together?
You want a job here, there are ways to do it without breaking our laws and you know that. Mexico has oil and other resourses and where does all that money go?
I don't really mind you being here as much as I do the refusual of most Mexican's to be loyal to US and thinking we have to change our laws to suit you. That and the fact most of you don't learn English.
You know what happens to folks from South America that sneak in to Mexico....if we treated you illegals the same way I'm sure there would be fewer of you here.

We are upset because this is both illegal and frustrating. Especially where I live in Southern California, it has become much more populated. It won't be something you want to hear, but taking a look at areas where immigrants live, there is much more crime and the general appearance is not nice. Would you want someone to come to where you live and make it look bad?

That seems stereotypical but it is true. I was involved in a car accident with an illegal immigrant - this person had no driver's license, no insurance, and no money. I had to get my car fixed myself.

These are just personal reasons that are, well, upesetting. YOU would be upset, too.

Hello...ignorant,

Yes, you are ignorant. Get real! If we went to Mexico we would need to speck your language, and when we can't you hurt us and take our money, and then laugh at us. A great many of you come over to our country and can't speak English or pretend that you can't. Please!
Then you come over here just to have your children then go back and when you need help you come back because your child was born in America so you all use the health system and welfare system. Get off your duff and help to change your Government so you don't need to cross the line and hurt our American people and our children. You bring sick people and pass on the sickness to our children. Mexico is huge, move on in your own country. God is everywhere. I truly feel that all of us Americans are very patient with all of you who have no respect for the law or the rules.
Get a grip. God wants us all to live as his children under his eye. and to obey his rules. God is everywhere. He even loves you.
Love yourself and love God.
Sincerely,... J

No, I wouldn't do the same. You must be mistaking me with a criminal or with Bill O'Reilly. I would do my best to change my environment and I would do it legally. This is my own moral code. I think it is much more irrational to break a country's law and then expect to be welcomed with open arms.

I'm not mad at you. I am agains illegal immigration. I am mad at my countries politicians. If it wasn't for them then we would not be having this issue. I respect yaw for wanting to better yourselfs but I must think of my family first as you must. We are both just caught on the opposite sides of a war. If things were different we could probably be good friends but I must think of my kids before I do any other nations kids.

So if you live in poverty, you can commit a crime. That is justifiable to you? Illegal aliens home countries need to provide living wages for their people and stop leeching off of America.

Thanks for the time and Happy Birthday.
