is it possible to get appendicitis from playing too much sports or exercises?

no, exercise wont cause it, but you can get lactic acid build up which can mimic the feeling of appendicitis

However, if you already have an inflammed appendix, exercise could aggravate it and lead to a rupture.

No but it can aggravate an already inflamed appendix. Appendicitis is caused by food filling and fermenting in the appendix and since the appendix was originally designed to digest raw meat and no longer functions, it fills with seeds and such which ferment

Not really. Appendicitis is caused by bacterial infection. It is very serious, though, and potentially life-threatening. If you think you have appendicitis, go to an emergency room right away.

No. The appendix was originally used to help us process raw-ish red meat. Since we cook everything so thoroughly now, it has become more or less useless. There are people who have a working appendix because they have eaten rare-ish meat their whole lives. However, if one suddenly begins to eat rare meat, that CAN trigger it. Exercise, sports, etc. do NOT have an effect.

if you are under a large amount of stress you can develop an appendicitis. but then you have to have what is called a inflammed appendix. appendecitis is a bacterial infection. you wont necesarily know if you have one but if you do develop one you need to get it taken care of asap. the symptoms are lower right quadrent pain nausea dark urine. if you have those symptoms get to a doc asap
