Every time i make banana cream pie, it never turns out right! Whenever i cut a slice, it always falls apart when i try to put it on a plate. I thought it might be because i didnt make my pie filling correctly and that it was too liquid. I tried to fix that problem by just filling it with pudding cups since that was more firm. BUt it still didnt work! What's going on?

Yeah, put it in the fridge for a couple hours, then it should be okay.

I buy cans of actual banana cream pie filling. (Not just vanilla pudding or similar) .. it's much more firm and can be doctored up with fresh slices of banana, etc. Also, I always leave the pies to set up for a few hours in the fridge before serving.

If you are putting a layer of banana slices in the bottom, under the custard they might be causing the problem. Bananas are slippery. Try chopping them and folding them into the custard. Also, you didn't say if you were using meringue or not, but if that sits for very long, it starts to "weep" and it will slide off your pie. If all else fails, fold some whipped cream into the custard, and freeze the whole thing. Good luck.
