My daughter is best friends with a doctors daughter, so I get to see him quite often. He is divorced and has been for the past 2 years. However, he went on a trip and his ex never picked the kids up from practice so he called and asked me to get them and take them to my house until he get back because he was going to cancel his trip. However, I gave him the ok to stay for 2 days. Now when he sees me he always greet me with a hug but it is usually from the back or side with his hands around my waist. I also, noticed that when im walking he watches me. He buys my children Christmas and b-day gifts. If I need anything he always make sure that I get it. A lot of people are telling me that they think he likes me, especially my family members.

You mean that you aren't sleeping with him and you are getting anything you need he gets it for you?? Interesting. So, if you need a new car he gets it for you?
You don't say if you are single.

Anyhow.....he sounds like a catch. and a good dad.

Maybe next time he hugs you, you hug him back a bit tighter or playfully kiss him on the cheek and then smile at him with your eyes.
......that is if you like him too.

That can be very misleading. He could like you, or he could be lonley and wanting to be with someone. Although the signs seem a lot a like there is a way to tell the difference. How does he act around you when you two are alone, does he seem more physical? Just ask yourself what signs hes showing. If you're still unsure, just flat out ask him if he wants to have dinner sometime. Tell him that although hes sending mixed signals to you that you would like to go to dinner sometime and maybe catch a movie, watch his reaction and see if he hesitates and watch for signs. Signs are the key to reading people. If he jumps on the opportunity, then it very well could be that he likes you but if he hesitates, then he could just be very lonely. Watch out and be careful.

Well anytime a guy ever hugged me from behind..around the waist.. it wasn't just because they wanted to be my friend. Everything you say sounds like he is at the very least attracted to you.
