The best thing is try to educate yourself to the culture of these people and enrich your lives with knowledge of the world. Step out of the wall you placed yourself in and get to know the world around you. They are here and here to stay forever. One day you too will have one of these people as a kin of yours. Ummmm....last time I checked America was suppose to be for everyone. We have just gotten over populated. That is why America and its leaders adapted immigration laws to begin with. With national security at stake, immigration law is even more vital to follow. I think most of the illegal immigrants that I have met are very honest and hard working. Once again, it comes down to the individual. Why do people judge a whole by only its parts? That is like saying because one man from America commits a crime in Spain then no Americans should be allowed to go there.
America was founded by immigrants. It is sad to believe that now we are here a few generations that we have no room to believe in why this country was founded. It was founded because our fore fathers wanted to escape the oppression of their governments. I would say that runs pretty much with what a lot immigrants are trying to do by coming here from third world countries.
Read a book. Free your mind.

Why would we do this for? did you look at mexico what there rules are for the llegal aliens who come to there country if we moved there legally we could not get any of what they get here illegally we would not get goverment help we would not get to pick where we would want to live ie: near the ocean that is for the people who were born there. There is alot of things that we would not be title too bc we were not born there and i think we should do the same frankly i think we should depor them for comming here illegally that is not right when they are able to come here llegally they are taking are money and YES they are taking peoples jobs WHO would wan them. MY husband just lost a job bc of an illegal alien bc they are able to do jobs cheaper bc the do not have to pay for anything bc the government will help them WHICH I think is BS. The goverment should deport them.

I try to steer clear wherever they crowd up and babble off high speed spanish like speedy-gonzales -running the tongue.
And at the same time I relax and admire and acclimate myself to the more "American" people who speak spanish, who take their time and express who they are more naturally like their latin-American qualities are Part of the American mix. People who try to learn some good English don't end up talking like they can outpace an Auctioneer when they speak spanish as a U.S. latin-American.

Encourage those Companies that have subsidiaries in other countries- to give their workers fair wages so as to improve that Countries standard of living- so that those people won't have to go to other countries to find a decent life. An improving economy floats more boats...- that stay closer to home.

Hey, d!ckweed, 4,000 LEGAL American citizens are MURDERED every year by ILLEGAL aliens!! Is that the CULTURE that we are supposed to be embracing?? Criminality and MURDER!? Do you expect us LEGAL Americans just to pay more taxes and attend more funerals with a smile on our faces?? Your analogy is as faulty as saying that the police should just stop prosecuting drunken driving, "sure it's illegal, but people are going to do it anyway!"

I have personally called the INS at least every week and turned
in illegal immigrants I see standing on street corners looking for work.....I write my legislators weekly complaining of illegal immigrants....I am tired of putting up with this criminal class...

My wish is that someday people will open their eyes and realize they are human beings just like everyone else...I hope this happens for the sake of my children that are Hispanic to grow up happily in a world that excepts them...and isn't cruel!!! It saddens me to think my children will have to put up with being hated!!

I welcome Legal immigrants. They have proven that they are here because they want to be and respectful of laws. They are hard workers and want to better them selves. Illegals are here to make a little money and return home so they wont have to work. Or they are here running from a crime they commited in their country. Or they are here to take advantage of benefits that we have. Simple as that. There is no reason to not be here Legally, unless you are just a lazy basic criminal.
