The USA would not be in danger now if Bush had not tried to impose his war aims on the rest of the world!

Sorry Mabi, you have to realise that the only people in these forums are the rabid Americans who are to dumb to realise that Bush is the laughing stock of the world. That Bush went into a country that had NOTHING to do with the attacks on 9/11. That Bush thinks that with all his power and might that the rest of the world would just succumb easily. I believe he declared victory in Iraq several years ago. Interesting view on Victory there George.

Rather than preventing trouble, America has simplied stirred up the hornets nest and made the world a much more UNSAFE place than it was. And to those who say they are defending their country, hello! Afghanistan, yes. Iraq had nothing to do with it apart from the fact they humiliated a certain persons dad years ago, and now they are humiliating his son.

Let's do an exercise in brain usage:

Republican: Richard Nixon was impeached for lying about a few documents stolen from the DNC in the Watergate Hotel.

Democrat: Bill Clinton was impeached for a little perversion in his own private office - and lying about it.

If GWBush was guilty of the enormous amount of the lying and deceit his critics allege he has done - and they had any valid and verifiable evidence at all - do you really think he would not be impeached?

So, really now, who's doing all of the lying?

Also, what kind of "political ambitions" can a lame duck President have? The man's got two more years and he's done - and unpopular decisions resulting in low opinion polls don't sound very ambitious to me - sounds more like he's doing what he genuinely feels is best for the country instead of mirroring the whims of the polls to win greater popularity.

Think about it.

Sorry you deluded idjit... A nice thing about the United States... and one that our enemies PLAY on today... is we have a constitution that gives a President 4 years, and a second 4 if he is reelected.

We can change our government legally and regularly, unlike the prior Afghan government... or the Chinese, or the North Koreans. And unlike Sadaam who was in power for 25 years (1979-2005) after killing hundreds of the previous government. Sure, he had elections... always with a 99% turnout and winning wth 99% of the vote !!

Al Queda brought the war on... the attacked us. Sadaam was just stupid for ignoring the United Nations for a decade... and then blustering and ignoring the UN and US in 2003.

This is upside down. Islamic fanatics would not be in danger now if they had not tried to violently impose their war aims on the US via 9/11.

The USA will put up with JWB until 2008.
And the USA is not "in danger". The danger is like a flea on an elephants back.
And if men dieing is a concern for you then why has Muslim killed Muslim (for religion) for decades?
I fear ISLAM has awoken a sleeping Giant...

And the US was not in danger BEFORE Bush became President? Ever hear of the embassy bombing in Tanzania? Ever hear of the bombing of the US Navy Ship Kohl in the Persian Gulf? (I forget whose harbor it was in.) Ever hear of the bombing of the Air Forces barracks in Saudi Arabia? Or after Bush became President, ever hear of a little thing called 9/11? So we're supposed to just sit back and let people attack us and NOT RETALIATE? Fine by me if you want to let YOUR family be killed like sitting ducks, but mine? NO THANK YOU. And no, the man has not done a whole lot to impress me, but you can't honestly say that we should have just sat back and said, "Oh, it's ok. They were just mad at us. We'll just let it be and let bygones be bygones." If you forget the past, you allow it to happen again.

Well considering his approval rating is horrendously low I'd say not too many Americans like what he's doing. But what would you have us do? Get him to step down so Cheney can be president? Sorry, you'll just have to wait till 2008 like everyone else. Dick.

You are so WRONG -- it is hard to figure out whether it is paranoia, or just plain not listening/learning in your US Government Class -- because if you HAD paid attention to the class -- you would DEFINITELY Not write the question this way because ...

YOU would already know that this just another posting of the dribble that has no basis in reality!
