My boyfriend always compliments me and calls me sexy, i know that I'm not ugly, but sometimes when he compliments me i feel like he's just saying it to be nice. how do i know if he really means it? and what can i do to boost my confidence.

just because you dont see yourself as a super model dosnt mean he dosnt see you as a godess, i think im as ugly as sin, my lady thinks im "ruggedly handsome" i have no idea what that means,. my point is that he sees you that way, besides, we never measure up to our own expectations. so revel in his compliments.

It all depends on how long you are in this relationship with your boy friend.If you think he means it then take it as a compliment. And if he is only saying it for a reason and be care full. It not easy to know weather he really means it or not.If you have enough self confidence then you do not need a boost. Just dint be carried away by words. Now days they only want one thing it sex and after that you are like dirt and they go on with life and you will be thinking of suicide.So hang on there and wait and see if he really means it or not.

well sexy is a nice word but it would be better if he called you beautiful maybe he sees you as just sexy but just know that you are sexy on the inside and on the real thats the most important thing. Really dont know if he means it or not just pay attention more then you'll know good luck â¥

When you look in the mirror and like what you see, your confidence will rise as well. If you do NOT like what you see, then you need to find out WHY, and is it something that actually needs to be corrected. Or are you simply being too hard on yourself. Most times it's the latter. Perhaps a professional will help you realize how important YOU are to YOU!

Take it for what it is. Too many girls can't take a compliment. We try to say the right things, but if we say it too much you girls flip out. I'm sure you are sexy. We just don't know when to shut up :-).

I know how you fell and I've learned that we are always our OWN worst critic due to being self conscious...my advice to you is to do things that make you feel sexy such as getting your hair done, nails, and for me I started exercising which is helping me get toned and is actually therapeutic....so its a win/win situation. To sum it up do things that make you, and only YOU happy and feel great about yourself whatever they may be :)
Also if he didnt think you were sexy/attractive I highly doubt he'd be with you because guys dont date ugly women

You need to put trust in your b/f - he may be quite a geniune guy! Dress up for him and put on a show! If he says your sexy after you have had a fight to make up then he isnt sincere and not worth your time. if he says it just because he feels like it then he diggs you girl!!!!

Unless hes saying this to get some...he probably means it..I know we think guys are total pigs and only like hott girls and only do things to be nice..but more than likely..he actually means it...I dont think im hott but my fiance tells me I am constantly..and that im cute..and...I argue..and..he argues back.. so....I know he means it..because he loves me..just...allow urselfa confidence boost...eventually..u'll see what he sees..and be much happier with urself..

It is always easier to believe the bad rather than the good. The best you can do is accept it and say thank you does it really matter if you believe it yourself as long as he is saying it that is what is important
