i'm curious as to how you found this out!?! He is dead wrong for talking to his ex (if they have a child together, i'd be more understanding) but even still that should not be the topic of their conversation. he's only answer should have been a firm h@@@ no, i don't want you back. if you want to be w him you are going to have to trust him but i would let him know that there is to be absolutly no contact w the ex. if he has a problem w that, let him go because he lacks respect.

Communication is the key. Talk to him and find out what he would like your relationship to be and where does he want to be 6 months from now. Still with you or not. When he is with you does he give you his attention? Does he try to do the little things that he knows will please you?

I tell you to not be stupid, if he's talking to her and she is trying to get him back you don't be stupid in not thinking that he is playing around on you. My advice is, if you have doubts then you know its not right. Go with your gut feelings.

well it comes down to trust. if you trust that he isn't cheating on you, then trust him. if you are worried you have 2 choices. 1, talk to him and if he still leaves you wondering then leave him, but if you believe him then you are good to stay. or 2, you leave him.

leave him, the fact that you know means he told you which means he's probably going to do it. he shouldn't even be talking to his ex that way to begin with.
