My best friends (they are guys) are trying to fix me up with one of their friends and he has liked me for quite a while also. He is a good person I am just not atracted to him at all in a way that I could date him. I don't nt to make things awkward or hurt his feelings but I dont want to be with him any advice on what I should do???

just explain that unless you feel that certain feeling, like butterflies, for someone, it would be unfair to date them. and a complete waste of time for both. that's a mature, considerate, tackful way to handle a touchy situation.

maybe you can accept a date from him and just go somewhere that you 2 can talk and tell him that right now you are not wanting a realtionship, let him know that he is a nice guy and all, but your just not looking for a b/f. but you can hang out with each other still. And really you shouldnt burn bridges you never know later on in life you may want to date him.

Please tell you guy friends that you are not attracted to him.And if they dint listen to you walk right up to him and say that you are not ready for a deep relationship and would just like to friend and nothing more. Dont worry about hurting his feelings bec the sooner you say it the better the healing.

Tell everyone in the same room at the same time that NO YOU WILL NOT DATE HIM.
Tell him that NO YOU WILL NOT DATE HIM.
Give them a day to pout and then more on .

You need to be striahgt and tell your "best friends" that this isnt for you, and that they shouldnt be meddling with your dating life and that you can handle it. With this said you can tell him that you dont want to be with him, be honest about how you feel, just say your unattracted to him. Goodluck

Don't do anything you don't want to do....Plain and simple just explain it to your friends and they will tell him just make it sincere and honest....If he gets mad then he is the one with the issue that way good luck hun

um....have you tried saying no? its not like he can force you to be his girlfriend. tell your best friends (which i will bet money they are only your best friends because they want to get in your pants and you wouldnt let them) to worry about their own relationships.
