Probably $20-30. What is your budget for the date? It depends on the price of food on the menu, you did not say how old you are. You can get a reasonably priced meal at Red Lobster.
If you want to be sure of the cost, go to the restaurants where you want to take your date and look at the prices on the menu. That will give you an idea for your budget.
You can go for Mexican or Chinese food which should be reasonably priced, depending on where you live. Don't forget to add the cost of soft drinks and a tip for the waiter/bus boy.
You can go for burgers.

That depends if you date a decent woman that doesn't mind inexpensive places to go too then you wouldn't have to spend much but only if want to.
But if you go out with a gold digger and doesn't have shame and expects expensive places then you better take a wallet full of money.
I for one would rather do an inexpensive place. You can still have fun that way!

Depends on who it's with, where you're going, what you're doing, and if you want a second date.
IvoryIvory clearly isn't getting a lot of second dates (or first ones, either I'll bet).
Going for a hike, and grabbing some pizza after - not so expensive. Darts & beers - not so bad, depends on how much you drink. Dinner & a show in Manhattan- big bucks.
Does Mrs. Sugar know about this?
