He's funny and a genius. He's one of the smartest men I've come across but he isn't pompous about it... he can discuss complex subjects on anyones level so that we all can know what he's talking about without getting lost. That's talented as well as very considerate.

I think Richard Dawkins is a metaphysical reductionist who believes all can be explained scientifically, but has yet to falsify the theory that all can be explained by science.
BTW I'm not exactly "religious" in the normal sense , though spiritual.

Richard Dawkins is great. I worry sometimes that his stance on faith vs. reason is just polarizing the debate further, but overall I am glad he is there articulating that position.

Excellent thinker; I love how he recognized the evolutionary principles behind thoughts and thinking, and pretty much single handedly created the field of memetics, which I am rather fond of.

Brilliant writer, very funny, and the best current defender of ToE. His secondary line of work as an attacker of things religious endears him even more. I'm almst finished reading "The God Delusion", it's one of his best yet.

Totally awesome guy. I love how he writes - entertaining and simple enough for the layman to understand. He breaks things down and explains them with examples and makes you grin, too.

he's smart, but he gets ahead of himself and makes certain ridiculous statements which seriously undermine his credibility.
