only PowerPoint software can make a PowerPoint presentation. It is part pf Microsoft Office, and there is nothing else that can create it.

if a PP presentation is made into an executable file, it can be viewed without the PP program. There are other programs that will read a regular PP show, but will not edit or create one.

There are other multimedia programs out there which are similar or even better, depending on your view and ability. But for those who use Microsoft, the functions are easy and almost instinctive with PP

You can't download powerpoint, as its a licensed piece of software that is part of the Microsoft Office package. You may be able to purchase a stand-alone version from ebay, be prepared to spend anywhere from $25 to $50 dollard for the program.

You can however download a powerpoint viewer (which only alows you to view power point files, from Microsoft's website...

well there is an office suite call openoffice. it is free to used. there is a program similiar to powerpoint. so when you create, don't forget to save it as a microsoft powerpoint file.
