To save energy and wear and tear on my computer, I put it in Standby mode as often as possible. However, as soon as I return to my computer and access the internet, Explorer freezes up on me and I'm forced to reboot. Any solutions?

I had same thing happen w/mine. Had to take it to my local 'puter shop & answer was found in "white papers"..where, I do not know. Was told after restoring back as when new "don't use hibernate or standby, will lock down". Messed up something in the OS,boot menu and system--which I did not touch.

also told me not to use safe mode, but normal.
