Declaration of Human Rights where people will be treated as equals.

Declaration about what? Beer, sex, and football? Pretty much gettin' all that right now. Independence? I haven't let another human tell me what to do for a very long time. (Except for my current girlfriend, and my boss at work, and cops, and the man from the IRS) So I dunno. You got me stumped. Okay, seriously, you should see the history of a guy who called himself "Emperor Norton". San Francisco maybe 1915 or around there, I forget. Anyway, he was basically a street person and he issued a proclamation declaring that he was the Emperor of San Francisco. Amazingly enough, everbody went along with the gag. He dressed up in a fancy uniform with big feathers in his hat and wherever he went, people bowed and addressed him as, "Your Excellency". He never paid for anything anywhere. Dined free at the best restaurants. Quite a character. Issued lots of proclamations and decrees, very few of which made any sense. But everybody loved the guy, and when he died everybody went to his funeral. You'll have to google this. I'm relying on just what I remember.

I would declare myself independent of the moral decline that is becoming rampant in this country. I would declare my intention to rise above the petty mean spirited treatment of those who look, believe, and offer different opinions than I do. I would declare never to use foul language, inflammatory remarks, and name calling in a childish attempt to defend my position or to denigrate others. I would declare to educate myself about all pertinent issues confronting the US. I would declare myself loyal to the US and willing to stand up and fight for the privileges I enjoy as a citizen of this country. I would declare myself loyal to my God, my family, and my values at all times and in all situations. I would declare myself willing to protect the vulnerable and innocent. I would declare myself ready to fight the evils of selfishness and greed that will eventually bring about the fall of this great nation.

I would write about my talents and my personal passions. Because I am disabled and it effects all aspects of my life I am very passionate on all concerns in this regard. Therefore I usually express my feelings on my blog page in commentary or poetry. My motto Written Words Work.
