Thats hilarious!

I live in NC and go to Cracker Barrel all the time and they seem to be serving all races, creeds, and colors whenever I'm in there!

(Maybe they just do it while I'm there, and the rest of the time they only serve "Crackers"!)

J/K I'm half Cracker and half Chinese... Would that make me a "Chinker" or a "Crackese" ???

My wife's a "Cracker", (don't tell her I said that, she will give me **** about it because I tease her for lookin' more Chinese than me all the time!) they definitely serve her there!

You know it is ashame that ppl would even talk about something like this. This is why there is still so much racism in this world. What is a black person???? If that is a problem for anyone than maybe they are the ones who are the racist. I've been to numerous crake barrell's where black people was being served just like other people.I've also been a waitress for several years and black people are they ones most of the time that does give good tips because they appreciate a nice attentive waitress. So please don't be the one that would say someone don't serve someone else because of there color. Every color should be treated and served equal.

I'm certain this is not the case; A guest may have been overlooked or it may have been extraordinarlily busy at the time of said black person's visit and an immediate greet by the server just wasn't possible. It does happen.

Someone is obviously trying to play the race card in order to get a nice big settlement out of Cracker Barrel.

One of their Chief Executive Officers is a black female. Two black women went into a Cracker Barrell somewhere right at shift change and were somehow overlooked. The pair are now trying to sue Cracker Barrell saying they were not served because they were black.

I'm a white female. I was an over the road truck driver for many years and ate thousands of meals in restaurants. I have been overlooked several times....I've also got some waitress friends who I'm sure have accidentally let a patron 'slip through the cracks'. I do not believe this was a case of racism, but rather an honest mistake...but that's just my opinion............

Well, we live in a free country, so people can say all sorts of idiotic things on tv, without providing a scrap of actual evidence, or even in spite of a mountain of evidence. If they don't think Cracker Barrell servers black people, why don't they just go to one?

But, actually, these kinds of rumors get kicked around all the time. They say it about Tommy Hilfiger or Waffle House, or any and everything that's a big enough target. These rumors are always about the person spreading it, rather than whatever the object of the rumor is. It fits with some preconceived notion or affirms some belief for them.

Really just sort of shows how ugly the subject of race is for so many people in this country, no matter what race they are.

It's Denny's Restraunts that get the worst rap on this. But Chris Rock's mother did have a problem at the Cracker Barrel.

When all else fails, pull the "Im black, that's why" card out of your ***, it seems to work all the time. *rolling eyes* There are more black people in the cracker barrel around here than there are white people so I honestly have a hard time beleiving this. Hey, whatever gets you yo money...*sigh*

All the ones I've been in had no problem like that.

For those not familiar with it, the Cracker Barrel chain is located in the eastern end of the country. Rustic atmosphere, lots of rockers on the porch. The only one like it on the west coast that I remember was called Po' Folks, and didn't last very long.

It's not a company policy as far as I know, but the company has been complained about before because of racist seating and serving practices, including by Chris Rock's mother.
